Terry
Rinehart is a 1968 graduate of Emporia High School and a resident of Emporia
since the family moved here from Ottawa, KS. He married his high school
sweetheart, Karen, in May of 1970, then moved to California where he soon caught
the photo bug! After the birth of Eric in 1976, the family moved back to Emporia
to get together with Greg Dunkin of Dunkin Photo to learn the trade. Terry
started photographing weddings for Dunkin in 1977, and after hundreds of
weddings, Terry and Karen decided to open a studio in their home at 538 Wild
Turkey Road in 1984. The studio has been providing the Emporia area with
affordable photographic services ever since. Currently a member of the
Professional Photographers
of America (PPA), Terry is striving to learn new techniques and keep
developing his own style.
