Special Features
Being a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), allows me to attend different PPA events where I can learn new techniques and concepts that help advance my photography skills. Things I have learned are new lighting techniques that give a more natural light effect in the studio. Lighting techniques are important and can really help set a picture apart from others.

Since I am a mostly digital studio, I can do touch ups and enhancements to the photos I take. Removing blemishes and stray hairs are examples of what can be done. Subtracting color from the background is another feature that can really make something stand out.
One of the great advantages of being a digital studio is that we can take elements from two separate pictures and combine them. This is a huge advantage to family portraits. Getting everyone to be looking with their eyes open, hands down, and at attention can be hard. I can pull a family member from one picture and place them in another picture to fix such problems. I always take multiple pictures of the same pose to make sure you get the best possible shot. Being able to edit the pictures in this way give an another check in making sure you get the shot you want.
